Ryan Moore


Ryan is a co-founder of Accomplice and the founding investor in clypd (sold to AT&T), DraftKings, Plastiq, and Unsplash, as well as ChefHero, Confirm (sold to Facebook), HQO, Joist, Lyte, Rocketmiles (sold to Priceline), Transit, TVInsights, and Ubersense (acquired by Hudl). He also serves on the boards of Currencycloud, Globoforce, MOO, Secret Escapes, and Skillz. Ryan got his start in venture at the  SoftBank family. Later, he was a founding investment team member of Grandbanks Capital before joining Atlas Venture’s tech team. Ryan received an AB in economics from Princeton University, where he was a linebacker on the football team and served in the ROTC.

Jason Robins

CEO & Co-Founder DraftKings

Jason Robins is Chief Executive Officer of DraftKings. Robins co-founded DraftKings in 2012 and oversees the company’s strategy and operations, while also driving funding and partnerships.

Robins has built a reputation for expanding DraftKings’ reach across numerous platforms through wide-ranging, forward-thinking partnerships. Under his leadership, DraftKings became the first DFS company to sign a league partnership, with Major League Baseball in 2013. Jason has lead efforts at DraftKings to work with policy makers and regulators to pass smart legislation. As of 2018, DraftKings has passed 19 bills.

Robins’ work has been recognized by the media and his peers, both nationally and in Boston. Recognition includes: Fortune’s 2015 “40 Under 40” list of the most influential people in business, appearing on that issue’s cover, Sports Business Journal’s “40 Under 40,” Boston Business Journal’s “Power 50: Game Changers,” and “40 Under 40,” among others.

Robins attended Duke University, where he received his degree in Economics and Computer Science. He resides with his wife and sons in the Boston area.

William Wheaton

Chief Strategy Officer Akamai

Bill Wheaton is Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer at Akamai. As Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Wheaton is responsible for collaborating with the Company’s divisional general managers on defining strategy that drives innovation for customers, pursuing new strategic markets and business adjacencies, and building partnerships with carriers and technology providers across the Internet ecosystem.

Prior to his role as Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Wheaton served as General Manager of Akamai’s Media Division leading the engineering, product development, product management, sales, channels and product marketing teams focused on making video and software applications accessible, and complex media content easy to use.

Prior to Akamai, Mr. Wheaton worked at Intervu, where he managed the Business Communications Sales Group supporting customers like CCBN, MCI, AT&T, Sprint and others. He has started and sold several businesses including VCS Technologies, which he sold to Intervu in 1999.

Nigel Lee


Nigel has a passion for solving problems. Over the last 20 years he has focused on shaping the landscape of Financial Services, FinTech, payments and digital commerce as a senior executive with some of the largest multinationals in the industry.

Always operating in developing markets and particularly in Asia, at Apis he gets to apply his experience to shape the strategy and performance of our portfolio companies and to find exciting companies in South and South East Asia to add to the funds’ portfolio.

Prior to joining Apis as a full-time Operating Partner, Nigel was International Head for American Express Prepaid/Mobile/Digital launching products in countries as diverse as China, India, Brazil, UK and Japan. Before AMEX he served as EVP International for MoneyGram. Also, in his previous 5 years, as President First Data Asia Pacific, he created a leading payments business in Asia.

Lance Johnson

North Equity

Lance G. Johnson is an executive, advisor, and investor based in New York and San Francisco. Lance is currently an operating partner at North Equity. Prior to that, he was Head of Corporate Development and represented MIH Naspers (Tencent, in Silicon Valley where he focused on group M&A activities and building portfolio-company relationships in the United States. Prior to joining MIH, Lance was Global Head of Sales & Marketing for the combined Nokia Interactive Advertising/Navteq Media Solutions in New York City, where he was responsible for driving mobile advertising growth in the USA, Latam, Europe and Asia. Lance has also been a business consultant to Viacom and Amdocs, and continues to be an angel investor and adviser to start-ups in Europe and the United States.

Lance started his career at Yahoo, where he held a variety of senior roles in sales, business development and operations in Munich and London. He holds an honors degree in economics and was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany in economics.

Rick Sirvaitis

RS Media Marketing

Rick, a 43-year media veteran has run his own media and marketing consultancy, RS Media Marketing LLC for the past ten years. He has been a consultant to such clients as the NFL Network, Gemstar/TV Guide, and Google TV Ads among others and was a partner and operated as President of StoreBoard Media — a new out of home media company which was sold in 2014 to Advantage Sales and Marketing. He previously was President and COO of Phase2Media, President of ad sales for Fox Family group of networks and ran ad sales groups for Turner Broadcasting for ten years.

He was graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising in 1971 and received his Master of Arts degree of Advertising in 1976 from Michigan State University. In 1985 he earned a law degree at Detroit College of Law and was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1986. Rick resides in Greenwich, CT.
